Our Waterfowl Hunts
- On-Property Walk-In Lodge Blind (Early Morning)
Park the truck, walk a few steps across our short walkway, and step directly into a solid, spacious floating blind. This setup bypasses boat rides and wading through mud entirely. Features full stand-up shooting room, bench seating, and a hot coffee maker. An optional cooked-to-order breakfast can be prepared right in the blind while you wait for the ducks. Capacity: Minimum 2/ Up to 4 hunters.
- Off-Property Guided Boat Hunt (Early Morning)
A dawn hunt through legendary public waters and hidden coastal marshes. Run by our USCG licensed captains, you will depart at first light on our custom Gator Trax boat to follow the morning flight wherever the birds are moving. Capacity: Minimum 2 / Maximum 3 hunters.
- “Late Sleeper” Excursion (9:30 AM Departure)
Tailored for an unhurried pace. Skip the early alarm and navigate the marshes with our licensed captains. Depart after sunrise on our custom Gator Trax boat to intercept prime mid-day duck movement across quiet regional waters as morning hunting pressure clears out. Available Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Capacity: Minimum 2 / Maximum 3 hunters.
Field Requirements & Regulations
To ensure compliance with state and federal conservation laws, all hunters must have their credentials and gear prepared prior to arrival:
- Licensing & Permits: All documentation must be acquired online at GoOutdoorsFlorida.com in advance. Your profile must carry a valid Florida Hunting License, Florida Waterfowl Permit, a no-cost Migratory Bird Permit (HIP), and a Federal Duck Stamp.
- Approved Firearms: 12-Gauge or 20-Gauge shotguns only.
- Mandatory Non-Toxic Ammunition: Federal law strictly prohibits the use or possession of lead shot while waterfowl hunting. Only approved non-toxic loads—such as steel, bismuth-tin, or tungsten alloys—are permitted on your person, in the blinds, or on the boats.
