Brian Maloney is QHF Ranch’s on-site dog trainer, offering dog training programs focused on developing confident, well-prepared field dogs. He works with retrievers, pointing breeds, and flushing breeds, tailoring each program to the dog’s stage and purpose.

Training at QHF Ranch emphasizes real-world hunting development, including field obedience, steadiness, and performance in working environments. All training is available exclusively to QHF Ranch members.

With more than twenty years of experience, Brian has trained dogs for field work, hunt tests, and versatile competition. He previously served as President of the English Setter Club of America, one of the oldest field trial organizations in the country, and judges for American Field and AKC events. He has also trained dogs for NAVHDA and co-owned a NAVHDA Versatile Champion German Shorthaired Pointer.

Beyond training, Brian’s background in the pet industry, including owning a pet store and working as a food representative, gives him broad knowledge in canine care, nutrition, and development. His calm, patient approach brings out the best in both dogs and handlers.
