To deliver the ultimate wingshooting experience, we deploy a team of highly trained, specialized dogs for efficient and ethical game management.

  • The Pointers: The heart of the traditional quail hunt. These magnificent dogs are trained to hold a precise ‘point’ over hidden coveys. This classic stance allows the hunter the time needed to walk into position for the challenging, adrenaline-fueled flush.

  • Flushers & Retrievers (The Finishers): Integral to the entire process, these dogs are used strategically. Their main value is efficient and ethical retrieval of all downed birds, ensuring zero loss of game. Additionally, they may be utilized by the guide in heavy cover to safely push out running birds that evade the pointer.

Yes, absolutely. Blaze orange is mandatory for the safety of every person on the preserve, including all hunters, guides, and observers. This is a non-negotiable rule enforced by Quail Hunting Florida.

Our Policy: To ensure the highest level of visibility and adherence to industry safety standards, every individual in the field must wear the following:

  • A blaze orange hat.

  • A blaze orange vest or outerwear.

We kindly ask that you come prepared with your required safety gear. Guests who arrive without the mandatory blaze orange attire will, unfortunately, be unable to enter the field until they have secured the proper gear. Your full cooperation helps us maintain a safe and exceptional experience for everyone.
