G.T.L.O. 100YD BENCHREST
SCORING & FORMAT:
- 1 Qualifying Round shot at a distance of 100 Yards.
- Targets are to be set at exactly 100 yards from the front line of benches.
- 1 Championship Round at 100 Yards.
- 25 targets. One shot allowed per score-able target. Target cards are 3 ft. x 4 ft. in size.
- If multiple shots are taken on the same target ring, the lowest score will be taken. A -10 penalty will be assessed for any additional shots over 25 in the designated target area.
- Best edge scoring will be used in the scoring of targets.
- All rounds have a 20- minute time limit. In the event every shooter finishes before 20-minute limit we will end the heat.
- Bench positions will be randomly drawn in advance for the qualifying rounds. Championship round shooters will draw for bench position.
- There will be 10 benches on the range, 10 shooters for each heat. We are planning on 3 heats. We will take the top 3 from each round to move on to the Championship Round
- If there is a tie, scoring will revert to the higher number of X’s shot. If there is a tie on number of X’s the scoring will revert to the highest number of 10’s, then 9’s, then 8’s, etc. until a winner is declared. If in the almost impossible circumstance that both cards are shot exactly the same, the two finalist can choose between a coin toss or bare knuckle fight to the death, or until the Range officer hears from on of the finalist, “UNCLE”……
